Launch of new label CC Container – CC TAG6 

Container Centralen sets January 6th 2025, as the start date for mandatory use of CC TAG6 .

Container Centralen is set to enhance the integrity and efficiency of the CC Pool system with the implementation of the new CC TAG6, effective from January 6th, 2025. From this date  all CC Containers must be equipped with the CC TAG6 and a CC metal plate to be accepted as part of the CC Pool.  

The CC TAG6 is equipped with the latest in RFID technology and a complex design, providing a more reliable and secure means of tracking and authenticating containers. This move is part of Container Centralen’s strategy to prevent the misuse of containers and to ensure that all container bases in circulation meet our high standards of quality.  

In preparation for this transition, Container Centralen strongly encourages all customers to relabel their CC Containers with the new CC TAG6 to enable them to be used  in the CC Pool after the 6^th of January. From  January 6^th 2025, it is mandatory for all CC Containers within the pool to feature a CC TAG6.
