CC TAG6
The importance of CC TAG6 labels
The strength of the CC Pool System is that the CC Container is exchangeable between customers and users. To keep the pool system fair and protect it from the illegal introduction of fake containers, it is necessary to replace the CC TAG label from time to time. This will help exclude illegal and unregistered containers from the CC Pool. Therefore, as of January 6th, 2025, only CC Containers with a CC TAG6 label and a CC Metal Plate will be accepted or recognised as being in the CC Pool.
Engineered with the latest RFID technology, the new CC TAG6 label makes it easier to authenticate the containers that are a legitimate part of the CC Pool.

RFID Authentication
The CC TAG6 label on each CC Container contains an RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) chip that can be read using a CC RFID Scanner. Only the original CC TAG6 label can be verified via RFID, making this the most reliable method of authentication. For the most accurate results, we recommend scanning the label with a CC RFID Scanner.
If a scanner is not available, you can also use the Free CC TAG6 label Authentication Mobile App, available for both Android and iOS devices.

Improved design, stronger control
- Stronger, more durable design – Smaller in size and made from improved materials compared to the previous CC TAG5 label.
- Easier to detect misuse – If a CC TAG6 label is removed and mounted to another base, this tampering is clearly visible.
- Simple and secure authentication – Use the CC RFID scanner for the most accurate verification or the Free CC TAG6 label Authentication Mobile App
Visual Proof of Misuse
The CC TAG6 label is engineered to prevent misuse and ensure the integrity of the CC Container pool. Its design is not only more durable — it also includes a built-in tamper indicator. If a label is forcefully removed, tampered with, or improperly reattached:
- A visible black line appears inside the label
- The RFID chip becomes unreadable by a scanner
- The container is no longer recognized as part of the valid CC Pool
This makes it easy to spot and reject damaged CC TAG6 labels.
