CC’s balance system
Simplified balances for greater clarity and convenience
The balance system offers the following key advantages:

- One main balance: collect and return anywhere in Europe without worrying about transferring your balance.
- Transparent pricing system: only pay for the service you use, there are no hidden costs.
- Real-time stock: actual insights into your companies availability and the availability at CC Depots.
Whether you are returning or collecting CC Containers or exchanging non-functional CC material for functional CC material, being able to do this at a CC Depot of your choice adds a greater level of flexibility which will l benefit your business.
CC European Depot Services - Main balance
Our improved balance system offers our customers the opportunity to make optimal use of CC’s European depot services. CC’s balance system provides the flexibility to return, collect and exchange CC material at a CC Depot of your choice.
When you return CC Containers to a CC Depot, the quantity of CC material is added to your Main balance. When you collect CC Containers, the quantity of CC material deducts from your Main balance. A fee is applicable for a collection and for a return of CC Containers.
New Hire Contract - Contract balance
For new hire contracts, the contract amount will be visible on your Contract balance. After setting up the Contract balance, you have two weeks to plan your CC Container collection, which will be free of charge. After this two week period, any CC material remaining on the Contract balance will automatically transfer to your Main balance, collecting from a Main balance incurs a collection fee.
You can return your short term hire CC Containers free of charge but please note that CC material returned to the Contract balance cannot be collected again.
What About the CC Depot Transfer Service?
The CC Depot Transfer Service is no longer required with our new balance system. As of 12th October 2023 there is one European Main balance instead of depot related balances. Transferring CC item balances between CC depots is no longer necessary. The fees previously associated with the CC Depot Transfer Service are now divided into a collection fee and a return fee.
You can transfer your balance of CC material from your Main balance to another customer.
